Aviation

Mr. Wintermeyer is an Airline Transport rated pilot with more than 10,000 flight hours logged in more than 95 different aircraft makes and models. He holds current FAA type ratings in the the Boeing 747-400/-8, Hawker H25B and the Citation Jet C525 series.  He continues to share his passion for aviation with those around him.  He has taught more than 70 people how to fly and keeps his Gold Seal certified flight instructor certificate current.  

Mr. Wintermeyer is an FAA licensed aircraft and power-plant maintenance technician with Part 121 and 91 maintenance experience. Mr. Wintermeyer has extensive legal and professional experience in the field of Aviation. He has experience dealing with a broad spectrum of aviation issues and has been involved as a testifying expert at trial. Mr. Wintermeyer is a panel attorney for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association‘s Pilot Protection Services plan since 2009. He is active in helping pilots, mechanics and aviation professionals with FAA enforcement and compliance issues.  Mr. Wintermeyer regularly negotiates and facilitates aircraft acquisitions and sales, representing both domestic and international clients. 

Business

Mr. Wintermeyer has experience with a wide range of issues in business law. He will be glad to help you form and maintain a business entity.  He has experience litigating complex business issues, including multi-member derivative actions.  Mr. Wintermeyer has experience in corporate structuring, shareholder/member buy-sell agreements, shareholder/member disputes, litigation, negotiation and settlement.  

Contracts

Mr. Wintermeyer has negotiated and drafted a wide range of domestic and international distribution agreements, joint-venture agreements and intellectual property transfer agreements with Fortune 500 manufacturing and distribution corporations. Mr. Wintermeyer has relationships with players in the private equities markets as well as international banking, particularly in South America.  

Regulatory Compliance

Mr. Wintermeyer has worked with the Transportation Safety Administration on Reagan National (DCA) access issues. Mr. Wintermeyer has experience with ensuring Campaign Finance compliance in respect to air travel used in conjunction with political campaigns. Mr. Wintermeyer has provided air transportation consulting to three United States Senate campaigns and two sitting US Senators.
